HOM Design & Build refreshed this kitchen in the Crosspointe neighborhood of Fairfax Station, Virginia. The existing vinyl floor was removed, the exposed surface was prepared for tile and 12-by-24-inch porcelain floor tile was installed. The existing cabinet system was professionally refinished in a light perimeter color with a contrasting gray island, allowing the homeowners to retain the established layout, countertops, backsplash and appliances. After the flooring and cabinet work were completed, the appliances were reconnected and the kitchen was returned to service.
