What the completed photography shows.

The before, construction and finished photographs document a full bathroom update in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria. The original beige tub surround, older flooring and dated fixtures gave way to large-format marble-look tile, a clear sliding-glass enclosure, coordinated shower fixtures, grab bars, a recessed niche, a new white vanity and toilet, added storage, recessed lighting and wood-look flooring. The room was updated as one connected project within its compact footprint.

Why the room feels resolved.

Glass preserves the sightline

The clear enclosure keeps the tile visible from the doorway and helps the compact room feel more open.

Support feels integrated

Grab bars and flexible shower fixtures are coordinated with the tile and enclosure instead of reading as later additions.

The finishes work as one room

Tile, flooring, storage, fixtures and lighting share a light neutral direction that makes the completed bathroom feel intentional.
